SUMMARY

The None Greater Youth Camp was a seven-day event focused on spiritual growth, character development, and building meaningful connections within the community. Split into three days for middle schoolers and three days for high schoolers, the camp provided opportunities for prayer, worship, Bible study, and self-reflection. Its mission was to deepen students’ faith, empower their relationship with God through Christ, and equip them with life skills rooted in grace and purpose.

THE CHALLENGE

Capturing the wide variety of activities and spiritual moments across seven days required balancing logistics with creativity. Ensuring the unique needs and dynamics of middle schoolers and high schoolers were accurately reflected in the visuals was a complex but rewarding challenge. Additionally, documenting both the personal, intimate moments of faith and the lively community interactions demanded a diverse and intentional approach.

THE APPROACH

I approached the camp with a focus on storytelling, ensuring that every photo conveyed the heart of the camp’s mission: God’s unqualified love. By being fully present and intentional, I captured moments of prayer, worship, and connection that reflected the students’ spiritual and personal growth. Building trust with the students allowed me to authentically document their journey, highlighting the transformation and lasting friendships formed throughout the camp.
