SUMMARY
The UR Conference was a two-day youth event featuring three impactful sessions, two vibrant block parties, and a community-focused service project. The Mission: Encourage students to come as they are and leave transformed, embracing their true identity as they are created to be. The event offered a blend of spiritual growth, community building, and fun, fostering meaningful connections among attendees.
THE CHALLENGE
Capturing the full scope of the event across diverse settings and activities required careful planning and adaptability. Managing dynamic environments, such as high-energy block parties and reflective service moments, posed creative and logistical challenges. Balancing both photography and videography while ensuring the essence of the mission was authentically conveyed added an additional layer of complexity.
THE APPROACH
I approached the role by being fully present in every moment, ensuring no detail or emotion was overlooked. I was intentional in capturing authentic interactions, aligning my work with the mission to highlight transformation and connection. By creating rapport with attendees and organizers, I fostered trust, enabling natural and impactful storytelling through my lens.
