SUMMARY
ROMA’s The Gathering is a young adults ministry that meets every fourth week, aiming to extend God’s love to all people. The event provides a space for worship, community, and personal growth, fostering a deep sense of connection among attendees. As a photographer, my role is to visually capture the essence of these gatherings, reflecting the ministry’s vision and the lives impacted.
THE CHALLENGE
Capturing the atmosphere of a monthly gathering requires balancing the energy of the group with the intimate, reflective moments. Ensuring each event feels unique while staying consistent with the ministry’s vision is a creative challenge. Additionally, the infrequency of meetings means that every gathering must be documented with precision to highlight its significance.
THE APPROACH
I approach each Gathering by creating intentional connections with attendees to capture authentic and meaningful moments. Storytelling guides my work as I focus on visually narrating how lives are being transformed through God’s love. By emphasizing both the energy of the event and the quiet moments of personal impact, I align my photography with the vision of the ministry.
